Fairmount Fruit Farm wants to create a place where people can enjoy the comfort, personality and local freshness of goods that only a small town farm can offer on a year round basis.
The spring and summer months bring in flowers and fresh garden vegetables that give way to the fruits of fall. Beginning in September, bring your friends and family to enjoy a hayride and pick your own apples straight from our trees. You can also visit us for Thanksgiving pies or for fresh trees, wreaths and decorations galore during the Christmas Season . No matter when you enter the stand you will always see local products whether from our own back yard or from your community's small local business.

In 1920 James Koshivas came to America from Greece and purchased the farm from and industrialist in Worcester named Morse, who had owned it for many years. James had a vision of apple trees gracing the farm and making a living for his growing family. Today, 88 years later the third, fourth, and fifth generations are carrying on the vision that began when a young man moved his family to the farm from Greece so long ago.
We still farm over 20 acres filled with apple, peach, and pear trees. We grow about 10 varieties of apples including the very popular Macoun, Honey Crisp, and Fortune. We are open from mid August (with apple picking starting in September) thru the end of October. We re-open at Thanksgiving to sell homemade pies and the Saturday after we begin selling trees and wreaths for the Christmas season.
Last year was the first year we have participated in the Franklin Farmers Market and we could not be more thrilled to be there again this year.

The Franklin Farmers Market is currently the only farmers market that we are a part of, but we hope to participate in at least a few more by the end of this year.

All of the fresh fruits and vegetables that we sell at the farmers market are picked that very morning. You can not get any fresher than that!
We are a small business, therefore we would like to help other small businesses as much as we can. If you have locally crafted products that you would like to be displayed in our farm stand, we would be more than interested. We are still a growing business and an increase in product variety will only increase what we can offer to our customers and community.
